As the Top Ten was announced for the Miss Universe 2007 pageant that was the beginning of the evening gown competition. Still in the running for the crown Miss USA Rachel Smith came out in her elegant gown. Walking only a couple feet Miss USA then took a devastating fall that ended up with her on the floor. But Rachel Smith didn’t let it get the best of her and gracefully got back on her feet and kept walking as if it didn’t faze her. Her charm really showed as she kept on with the evening gown competition. Still after her fall, she still manages to make it into the Top Five. Answering her final question Rachel Smith didn’t show any sign of embarrassment just a bright smile and a sign of confidence in her answer.  Finishing 4th Runner Up Rachel Smith truly left that night a winner in many viewers’ eyes.
