 Rachel Hunter is still living it up as a super model! Recently making the Australian press, news of Rachel Hunter releasing her swim wear collection titled "Lola" which will be released later this month in David Jone's Stores in Australia. Rod Stewart's ex, is still looking great at the age of 37, and is still using her looks for income. Some people never look like they get older, and I have to say that super model Rachel Hunter is one of those people. Coming up, Hunter is expected in her home country of New Zealand for their Fashion Week in Auckland. Hunter has been modeling for 20 years now (since she was 17) and is still working hard, and still looking good! Her first major modeling gig was for Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in 1989. After that the door to almost endless opportunities opened up for her. She began to appear in more and more magazines, like cosmopolitan, and more Sport's Illustrated SI Editions, and things of that nature.

 Hey what do you know? Oh No! Another beauty pageant contestant has done something so outrageous it is worthy of making the headlines. This time is it is Miss Ventura County 2005, Hilary Gushwa. I don't know about you, but personally I am starting to get tired of all of these Miss Whatever scandals, which are tales of sexual liaisons (some times with other women), under age drinking and now thievery! This is about the 5th or 6th so far this year. Even though these "meant to be private" stories are funny and entertaining, it is sad to think that this is some of our country's future. In any case, it is still really funny how stupid some of these young girls can be!
Hilary Gushwa, aka Miss Ventura County 2005, is in hot water now due to the fact that she has still not returned her crown! More specifically she has yet to this day return the crown, commemorative ring, a pin and other various prizes valued at the figure of $2,600.00. This only perpetuates the stereotype of women not being able to be separate from their jewelry, lol.
The reason for her disqualification in the first place is due to the fact that she was married at the time of the pageant. |

 Sunday night's MTV VMA’s from the Palms Casino in Las Vegas were one of the best that I can think of! It had everything that makes a really entertaining show, stars and celebrities, laughs, fighting, and a performance from Britney Spears! What, forget that last one, that actually took some of the pizazz away from the evening. Britney Spears song was bad enough, but her dancing was even worse, she moved like a dead fish with rigor mortis, on strings. It was that bad! Not to mention she put on some weight in the mid-section! Besides her less then satisfactory performance, overall the VMA's were excellent! This was the first year for the show to be in Las Vegas and what a show it was. Backstage there was more drama going on then an episode of The Hills! Reportedly rock stars Tommy Lee and Kid Rock went in to an all out fist fight . Why? The specifics are still unknown at this time (like why it happened, and how bad it was, etc.) but it did have an effect on the show. Kid Rock was supposed to come on stage with super star Diddy, but instead, Diddy was accompanied by rap star Young Joc. Diddy even made a comment about how violent rock and roll can be, but left it at that. |
